Therme Bad Aibling is just a few minutes' walk from your suite – you'll find all the details on our dedicated thermal baths page. If you'd like to explore further during your stay, the surrounding area also has lovely thermal baths: Chiemgau Therme in Bad Endorf (approx. 30 min.), Prienavera right on Lake Chiemsee, or Therme Erding, the largest thermal spa in the world (approx. 1 hr.).

🥾 Active in the mountains

Hiking enthusiasts will find stunning routes in the nearby mountains, from easy strolls to challenging summit hikes. A particular favourite is the Wendelstein, with breathtaking views, easily reached via the Wendelstein cogwheel railway. The Hochries cable car also takes you comfortably up the mountain. Water sports fans enjoy sailing or windsurfing on the nearby lakes, while cyclists love the trails along the Mangfall. Golf lovers will find ideal conditions at Golfclub Maxlrain – surrounded by rolling hills, fresh air, and Alpine views, suitable for beginners and experienced players alike.

🦌 For families with children

Bergtierpark Blindham offers exciting encounters with native animals and a large adventure area. On rainy days, Krokodo indoor playground is a great option. For active families and teenagers, there's also the Prien high ropes course and the Stephanskirchen climbing gym.

⛴️ Trips to Lake Chiemsee

Lake Chiemsee, with its Alpine backdrop, is one of the most popular destinations in the region. The Chiemsee boat trips take you to the Chiemsee islands and the famous Herrenchiemsee Palace.

🏔️ Trips towards Berchtesgaden & Tyrol

For a longer day trip, consider Lake Königssee with a boat trip to the St. Bartholomä chapel, the Berchtesgaden salt mine, or Kufstein Fortress in Tyrol.

For culture lovers, the town's own Heimatmuseum Bad Aibling and the Lokschuppen in Rosenheim offer fascinating exhibitions. Nature lovers can explore the Sterntaler Filze moorland experience, and with children, it's worth visiting the Raritätenzoo Ebbs, the Siegsdorf Mammoth Museum, or Jenbachparadies.

🏙️ Rosenheim & Munich

Rosenheim – just minutes away – impresses with its Mediterranean flair, historic old town, the Inn Museum, and rotating exhibitions at the Lokschuppen. Munich is about 40 minutes away by train or car: Marienplatz, the Deutsches Museum, the Pinakothek museums, the English Garden, and the Allianz Arena await you – perfect for a day full of culture, shopping, and Bavarian charm.
