Moor Baths in Bad Aibling – No Spa Cure Needed

Bad Aibling is Bavaria’s oldest moor spa: since 1845. You can book a moor bath here without a prescribed spa cure – paying privately, for a few days or a whole week. The Kurmittelhaus Egger treatment centre is 900 m from us, the Therme thermal baths a 10-minute walk. Treatment there – relaxation with us.

🌿 Bad Aibling’s natural moor

The moor comes from Au near Bad Aibling. It is dug there and delivered straight to the clinics and the Kurmittelhaus. After use, it goes back to a restoration area near Bad Aibling.

A full moor bath is 42 °C. That sounds hot: but moor releases heat more slowly than water. This is why the temperature feels pleasant, and the warmth goes deeper.

Moor baths are traditionally used for muscle tension, arthrosis, rheumatic complaints and menopausal symptoms.

Important: you arrange your appointments yourself by phone with the Kurmittelhaus Egger. We recommend contacting them 4 to 6 weeks before your treatment. We have a good relationship with the Kurmittelhaus, but we do not book treatments for our guests. They will also tell you whether you need to see a spa doctor before your first full moor bath.
